Actress Iyabo Ojo: “Courtship Is Very Important Before Marriage”

Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has spoken about her love life and plans to remarry in a recent interview.

Ojo, who also runs a beauty spa, Fepris World, spoke about her happiness and why she wants to get married again.

“I used to be married, I have two wonderful kids, and my first is about entry the University this year and the second next year. So I am blessed with my kids. Though I am not sure but I guess their dad has married now. Sure, I’m getting married soon,” she said.

“You see my definition of marriage is happiness undiluted. Ever since I have been separated, there is only one goal and that is my happiness and that is what I look for, when you are happy, you will have sound mind and then you can concentrate on achieving so much on your kids, your work and business.”

“I am very hardworking and very determined and I don’t compromise my happiness, I can’t trade for anything. My happiness comes first I have a man in my life and we have been together for a while now, he cherishes my happiness and can’t compromise it as well. He supports everything I do but I leave all to God to perfect all things I left”.

She however stressed that marriage wasn’t something that should be rushed into.

“I tell people that marriage is good. Sincerely it is so good, but one needs to study one’s partner. Courtship is very important. You need to know each other deeply. Study yourself in all aspect; study each other to an extent. There are so many things that entails in a marriage, love is not enough. A man who wants to marry me must be able to understand me because I am not ready to quit my career. This is what makes me me!”
