It has been a disastrous season for both Liverpool and Balotelli
as the player managed one goal league goal all season and the club paid 16
million for a striker who did not produce goals but managed to produce nothing
but trouble off the field. Liverpool are willing to accept less than half of
what they paid for Balotelli originally and Bolonga are set to take them up on
the offer.
Liverpool
are reportedly willing to accept 7 million Euros for Mario Balotelli and
Bolonga are reported to be interested in the Italian international as they look
to push for European football in the Seria A this season. Bolonga are of the
opinion that Balotelli would do well in Italy if he feels at home. The player’s
wage demand might present a stumbling block in the deal as a proud Balotelli
might not take a pay cut even following a terrible season. But Liverpool might
be willing to augument his pay seeing how desperate they are to offload him.
Sampdoria
are also rumored to be interested in the forward but neither side are yet to
make an official bid and you can’t blame them, after all, they are about to
move in for Balotelli
