Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas
has said that his love for Arsenal has not wavered as he prepares to face his
former side in the Community Shield.
The Spain international spent eight years with Arsenal
before joining Barcelona in 2011, he won only the FA cup with the gunners.
Fabregas made a move back to the EPL last summer and
joined the blues, which angered Arsenal fans, but he still maintains his love
for Wenger’s side.
“Whatever it is, it is. The love I have for that club
will never change whatever happens and what is the most important is what I
have with me are the memories,” he told reporters.
“The rest doesn’t matter. I have great memories, love
and respect for the club. You will never hear anything bad from me about them.”
