Nigerian actor, Hanks Anuku,
known for his love for playing American returnee characters,
was yesterday arrested on Spintex Road in Accra. He was arrested with a
film crew shooting a movie titled ‘Night Scenes in Ghana’. It was reported
that they were shooting without permit and therefore cause fear and panic on
the streets.
Motorists were said to have turned around and sped
away after hearing gunshots and shouts on the road.
Those arrested asides Hanks Anuku, were George
Adu Badu, producer of the movie; Joseph Heisk, Ivy Bentum, Adjetey Roberta, and
Elu Heaka Mensah.
The rest are Mary Acheampong, Emmanuel Anumaka,
Charles Roger Beckly, Arhin Wakila and Sherrif Sunday Brown.
