
A 3-1 win over Jamaica in the
final of the CONCACAF Gold Cup saw Mexico lift the title.

Corona, Oribe Peralta were enough to see Mexico lift what
was their 7th Gold Cup trophy.
Mexico will face the tournament’s 2013 winner,
USA, on Oct. 9 for CONCACAF’S spot in the 2017 Confederations Cup in
Russia.
Andres Guardado scored 6 goals in the tournament, and was voted player of the
tournament.
Brad Guzan of the U.S. won Golden Glove as top goalkeeper.
