We know it won’t be possible for
anyone to surpass Messi and Neymar says that is not his goal at the moment.
Messi has won the Ballon D’or four times in the past
six years and has been regarded as the best the game has seen in a while.
Neymar has been tipped to rival Messi for the 2016
Ballon D’or, but the Brazilian forward says he is more focused on improving
himself rather than surpassing Messi.
“It is not my goal to try to surpass Messi,” the
23-year-old told SporTV.
“I am just trying to follow my own career path. I want
to keep on doing the things that I have been doing, to win titles and to
achieve my goals.
“But I am not attempting to be better than any one
else. My goal is to keep improving myself.”
