The Ooni of Ife, Oba Okunade Sijuwade has passed on at the age of 85.

Sijuwade reportedly died on Tuesday at around 5pm.

Sijuwade, who became the 50th ruler of Ife in 1980, had reportedly been flown
out of the country about 5 days ago.
An
official announcement is yet to be made by the palace.
