Birdman On Lil Wayne/Young Money Brouhaha: “Drake & Nicki Are Going Nowhere”

Birdman has given his first interview over the issues surrounding himself, Lil Wayne and Young Money.

Birdman and Lil Wayne have fallen out of favor with each other of Birdman’s refusal to drop Weezy’s Tha Carter V album, with Weezy now wanting out and suing the label.

Birdman and new label signing Young Thug had even been indicted in a shooting of Lil Wayne’s tour bus.

In the interview with Power 105’s Angie Martinez, Birdman revealed his spat with Lil Wayne had nothing to do with the other Young Money artistes.

“That’s gossip. Nicki and Drake ain’t going nowhere,” the Fire Flame rapper said matter-of-factly.

Birdman revealed that he still got love for Lil Wayne, and that it hurt “a lot” when Wayne said negative things about him in the media.

“I love my son,” Birdman said. “He mean the world to me.”
