This has to be the gamble of the season.
West Ham are in pole position to sign Joey Barton for free and would be taking
a huge gamble on the 29 year old if they sign him.
Brton left Queens Park Rangers at the end of last
season when they were relegated and is currently a free agent. For al of
Barton’s talents, the players disciplinary issues have made clubs weary of
signing the player but West Ham have reportedly been in contact with the player
as they look to make a deal hapen before the end of te tranfer window. While
Barton might be a gamble, if it pays off, Barton might just work well for West
Ham this seasn.
Aston Villa and Sunderland are also reported to be
interested in Barton. a few clubs outsided England are also reportedly looking
to move in on the forward
