Adidas ban Harden from Air Jordans
Adidas
are not happy with James Harden after the superstar was photographed
wearing Nike Air Jordans.
The
Houston Rockets guard had just signed a 13-year, $200-million deal with Adidas,
so their anger is understood.
The
president of Adidas North America, Mark King, revealed Harden will have to stop
wearing all his Air Jordans when the deal officially commences on October 1.
“That’s
part of the deal.”, King said.
“The
difference between football and basketball is that a guy like Aaron
Rodgers doesn’t have a walk-around shoe,” King said. “Harden does, and he
will be in our lifestyle stuff.”
