Arsenal’s claim of wrongful dismissal of Gabriel in the match against Chelsea
has been upheld by the Football Association.
Subsequently, this means Gabriel’s three-match ban has
been withdrawn with immediate effect.
Gabriel was handed a red card for violent conduct when
Arsenal visited Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge and fell to a 2-0 loss.
The defender is currently subject to a separate FA
charge of improper conduct in relation to that game and has until 6pm on
Thursday to reply.
