Arsenal got a ray of sunshine
earlier today, when Gabriel’s red card was overturned, but it seems that won’t
be case for Costa. Who got a three-match ban.
Costa was found guilty of an FA charge of violent conduct.
The charge relates to an incident in Chelsea’s game against Arsenal, which was
oblivious to referee Mike Dean, but was the subject of an investigation.
Costa now serve the standard penalty of a three-match
suspension with immediate effect.
This means Costa will miss the matches against
Walsall, Newcastle and Southampton.
