Jose
Mourinho is at it again. Following Chelsea’s victory over Maccabi Tel Aviv in
the UEFA champions league, the Chelsea manager referred to himself as fantastic

Mourinho has come under a lot of
criticism in recent weeks over Chelsea’s performance in the league and when his
side lined up for the clash against Maccabi Tel Aviv Mourinho knew he needed a
win. Despite a missed penalty by Eden Hazard, Willian, Diego Costa, Oscar and
Fabregas gave the Portuguese’s side a comfortable 4-0 win. Mourinho immediately
went on the attack in the press conference as he always does once he gets ahead
of the curve. “There are people who are not happy with so many successes,”
Mourinho told reporters. “Wayne Rooney was a disaster, then he beats the record
with England and he’s suddenly the best player in the history of English
football. Rooney is a fantastic player when he’s not scoring goals or when he
is. I am a fantastic manager when I’m not winning matches and I’m a fantastic
manager when I am. Mourinho went on to thank Chelsea fans for their continued
support while managing to still sound cocky “It shows that they don’t read
papers or they don’t have short memories: if they don’t read papers they’ll
support me, if they don’t have short memories they’ll support me.”
All in all, it was a good night for
the former Real Madrid manager who would be hoping that his side have turned a
curve with the victory in Europe
