Should Mourinho take slight at
this? Madrid president Florentino Perez has revealed he has no intention to
sign Mourinho again, with Benitez doing well.
Chelsea have started the season on a bad note, getting four
points from four games, prompting rumours that Abrahimovic might sack him.
Should this happen, Madrid will not be taking him back. As Perez
has no intention of sacking Benitez.
Under Benitez, Madrid have four points from two games and Perez
called him the best at Madrid.
Speaking to Cadena COPE , Perez said: “I have no intention of
re-signing him [Mourinho], although he did give us an important step up in
terms of quality.
“Before him, we struggled to make it past the last 16 in Europe
and that wasn’t good enough.”
Perez added: “[Benitez is] the best coach I’ve ever had.”
