to AS, Atletico
Madrid and French foward, Antoine Griezmann would be interested in leaving
Atletico Madrid to join their cross-city rivals Real Madrid.
Griezmann
has excelled since signing for Atleti from Real Sociedad last year, scoring 28
times in 57 appearances.
According
to AS, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has told journalists in recent
weeks that Griezmann would like to play for the 10-time European champions.
It
is reported that the French forward has informed his international colleagues
Karim Benzema and Raphael Varane, who are on the books at Real Madrid, of his
desire to join them at the Bernabeu.
Also
according to AS, Griezmann could become the next transfer objective for Real
Madrid, who have not managed to sign a player directly from Atleti during the
course of Perez’s two spells as president of the club.
