Lionel Messi has won his fifth
ballon d’or ahead of Real Madrid ace Ronaldo and Barcelona teammate Neymar.
This will be Messi’s fifth award, making him the first
player to do so and breaking Ronaldo’s streak after he won it twice in a row.
The award just caps Messi’s beautiful 2015, where he
won five trophies with Barcelona, winning the UCL a fourth time.
Messi first won the title in 2009 and went on till
2012, before Ronaldo started winning.
