Shola Ameobi has offered to play
for Bolton for free until the end of the season, but the Championship club
cannot take the striker up on the offer, according to the Bolton News.
Bolton are under a transfer embargo, meaning they
cannot sign any contracts registered with the Football League.
The former Super Eagles Striker contract expires at
the weekend, having scored in Bolton’s 3-1 win over MK Dons last week.
