Leicester City Confirm Place In
2016-17 UEFA Champions League – Leicester City have confirmed their place in
next season’s UEFA Champions League.
The title chasers continued their
effort to win a fairy tale Premier League title with a 2-0 victory over
Sunderland, and a 0-3 loss for Manchester United at White Hart Lane meant The
Foxes cannot fall below 4th place again.
With only five games left, Claudio Ranieri’s men are in pole
position to end the title on top, and two goals from Jamie Vardy against the
Black Cats made sure there were no slip ups.
Tottenham, who are chasing Leicester City, scored all of their
three goals against Manchester United in six minutes, with United’s chances of
playing in the UEFA Champions League now all but gone.
