Justin Bieber Smashes Eight Guinness World Records

Justin Bieber has made the Guinness World Book of Records 2017 Edition with eight smashing records. 
Thanks to his record-breaking Purpose album which was released on November 13, 2015 under record label, Def Jam Recordings.
The 22-year-old now holds World Record titles for:

o    Most streamed track on Spotify in one week for “What Do You Mean?.” – It was streamed 30,723,708 times over seven days.
o    Most streamed album on Spotify in one week for Purpose. – Streamed 205 million times worldwide, setting a new pace in the USA where it was showcased as No.1 on the Billboard 200.
o    Most simultaneous tracks on the U.S. singles chart. – As dated December 2015, a number of the Canadian pop star’s songs were scattered amongst the ranks on the Billboard Hot 100. With 17 tracks off his album, the list had well-known titles such as “Sorry”, “Love Yourself”, “Company” and ”Mark My Words”.
o    Most simultaneous new entries in the Hot 100 by a solo artist. – 13 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 dated December 5, 2015.
o    Most viewed channel on YouTube for an individual. –  Justin’s official VEVO channel on YouTube was the most viewed with 10,478,651,389 beating Rihanna’s former record of 6,884,884,873 views.
o    Most subscribers on YouTube for a musician (male). – 20,711,202 subscribers on his YouTube Channel JustinBieberVEVO.
o    Most followers on Twitter (male). – He maintains his ongoing record of Most Twitter followers at 85,235,563 and counting. Since January of this year, his followers have increased by an astounding 11 million.
o    First act to occupy all top three positions simultaneously on the U.K. singles chart thanks to “Love Yourself,” “Sorry” and “What Do You Mean?” – He topped the UK with his records “Love Yourself” (No.1), “Sorry” (No.2) and “What Do You Mean?” (No.3) towering the UK singles chart on January 14, 2016.
This is definitely a great year for Justin Bieber.
