Manchester United have agreed a
deal which would see Pedro join Manchester United from Barcelona even though
the Catalan club are still keen on keeping him
Pedro has been somewhat unsettled at Barcelona and was
reported to be set to leave the club. Manchester United who have recently freed
up some cash and playing space following the departure of Di Maria moved in to
make a deal happen with Barcelona and both sides have agreed on a valuation of
the player who Van Gaal is keen to make part of his attack. Manchester Unite
would pay Barcelona 26 million for Pedro’s services to Barcelona. Barcelona are
however looking to keep him until he at least plays in the UEFA Super Cup
before he departs for Old Trafford.
Manchester United would be hoping that Pedro is as
effective for them as Fabregas and Sanchez were for Chelsea and Arsenal
respectively last season.
