Real Madrid manager Rafa
Benitez has
reiterated that the club is not looking to sell any of its players.
A number of the club’s stars have been linked with
other clubs, with Manchester United chasingSergio Ramos all summer and Arsenal looking to Karim Benzema to solve their forward problems.
Following Madrid’s 2-0 win over Tottenham in the Audi
cup, Benitez revealed that there would be no more transfers.
“As I mentioned with Karim, there’s a lot of
speculation,” he told reporters. “I don’t care about any of it. I just want to
concentrate on football, all of my players will be staying here.”
He also revealed why he benched Toni Kroos and Luka
Modric, saying it was a challenge rotating the squad.
“It’s impossible to manage it symmetrically unless you
have 22 players at the same level,” the coach continued. “The changes have been
made in the best possible way with the group we have.”
