Nigeria’s
President Muhammadu Buhari and former President Olusegun Obasanjo met at the
Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Tuesday.
The closed door
meeting of the two leaders, which lasted for about an hour, was kept classified
from pressmen as details of the meeting were unknown at the time of filing this
report.
It was learn that Obasanjo
declined to speak to journalists when Buhari accompanied him to his vehicle at
4:17pm.
He simply told journalists that approached him: “comot
joo.”
If we recall,
Buhari had on August 21 named Obasanjo as his Special Envoy to mediate and help
find a solution to the crisis brewing in Guinea Bissau.
