Manchester City reject,
John Guidetti and Liverpool Reject Iago Aspas were in target alongside Notillo
as Celta Vigo picked up a famous 4-1 win over Barcelona.
Barcelona started the game on the front foot, creating chances at
will but the deadliest attack force in world football was profligate and in the
28th minute, Notillo made them pay curling a
brilliant shot past the Barcelona goalkeeper from just inside the area to make
it 1-0. 4 minutes later, Celta Vigo doubled their lead as a mistake by Pique
allowed Notillo to slip Iago Aspas through and the Spaniard made no mistake
when he was one on one with Ter Stegen.
Barcelona went on the front foot from
then on but Celta held firm. Barcelona were slow to get into their stride in
the second half and Celta Vigo made them pay again as a poor clearance fell to
Iago Aspas who showed great composure to run into the box and finish smartly to
make it 3-0. Barcelona looked short on confidence and in the 80th minute, Neymar seemingly gave his side a way
back running onto Massi’s chipped pass before finishing well into the net.
Manchester City flop, John Guidetti rounded off the game in the 83rd minute as a cross from Mallo found him in the
box and he powered the ball past Ter Stegen to make it 4-1.
This match marks the third time Barcelona have conceded four
goals in one match this season and it is quite clear that Luis Enrique needs to
work on his defense.
