A superb comeback performance saw Manchester United lose to PSV at Eindhoven despite Manchester United taking the lead late in the first half.
The match started out badly for Manchester United when Luke Shaw picked up a terrible injury, breaking his leg inside the PSV eighteen yard box while involved in a challenge with Hector Moreno. Memphis Depay finally put Manchester United in front against the run of play as the former PSV man went past two defender before finishing into the bottom corner from inside the box to make it 1-0 to Manchester United in the 41st minute.
Two minutes into injury time in the first half, Hector Moreno equalized for PSV after his header came off Blind to fly into the net from a Lestienne corner kick. PSC would go on to take the lead in the 57th minute as a swift counter attack released Lestienne whose cross found Narsingh in the box for a good header past De Gea into the Manchester United net.
PSV fans would be very happy with the result as the homecoming boy and fan favorite, Memphis Depay scored a goal for Manchester United but PSV went on to win the match.
