Arsene Wenger has revealed the
possibility of Alexis Sanchez being available on Sunday, but insists he won’t
rush him.
Sanchez suffered a hamstring injury from November 29,
and was expected to make a comeback before the end of the year, only for a
setback to rule him out.
But it seems the forward will now return to the squad,
but will undergo a fitness test.
“I will be cautious now. There is an opportunity that
he will be in the squad for Sunday,” Wenger said at a news conference.
“He will have a definite test on Saturday. Friday and
Saturday will be two important days for him.
“It is not impossible that he will be involved.”
